Discover Pezenas

Not far from Agde in the Hérault, Pézenas ranks as a Ville d'art et d'histoire and maintains the memory of the famous Molière.

Stroll through the city center, beating the cobblestones of the delightful streets hemmed with small stores and discover the fine architecture of the houses and mansions built between the 16th and 18th centuries. Push open the doors of the old chapel of the Pénitents Noirs now converted into a theater. You can continue your cultural tours of Pézenas by exploring the Sainte-Ursule church, a former Ursuline convent, or the 18th century collegiate church of Saint-Jean.

Tourism in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert

This is one of our favorite visits, a must! Located in the Hérault, 45 minutes from Agde, the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert is worth a visit!

Take advantage of this ride to take a dip from the famous Devil's Bridge and picnic by the river. Possibility of beautiful walks for hikers and magnificent canoeing along the Herault Gorges. Your trip will also allow you to visit the grotto of Clamouse.

Visit Sète

Near Cap d'Agde, the port city of Sète includes a rich heritage to visit between culture and gastronomy. Discover the beaches of the city of Sète and its boats sailing on the water at the Thau pond and on the Mediterranean Sea. The windows of the art workshops are to be admired. Enjoy the local products offered by the local producers during the markets or at the restaurant.

Sète is also a city full of entertainment where you never get bored between its festivals, its jousting sports competitions and its multiple museums to visit, such as the International Museum of Modern Arts.

The lake of Salagou

A few dozen kilometers from Agde and near the camping Grau d'Agde, the lac de Salagou is the perfect place for a moment of relaxation on its shores or a family stroll. It is the largest lake in the Hérault, which also features a unique biodiversity.

Leisurely walk the 28 km of shoreline of this 750 hectare watering hole, an authentic haven of peace in the heart of Languedoc. Stroller, cyclist or hiker, take advantage of the sun's rays to discover a remarkable landscape with an incredible palette of colors. It is also the perfect spot for water activities such as kite surfing or pedal boats.
